Vertigo #4
Still confined to barracks. I was flicking through Nick Morley's, highly recommended, Linocut for artists and designers (2016) and happened upon this, which seemed appropriate to my malaise, although it perpetuates the confusion between acrophobia (fear of heights) and vertigo. It is a two block linoprint that Morley made for the cover of a BFI Film Classics book (2012) by Charles Barr about the 1958 Hitchcock film Vertigo. The style reminds me of Cyril Power's wonderful prints from the 1930s.
