I am looking to buy a bike that I will be able to ride in town and on our various bike trails. I wanted just a plain old bike.....with the brakes on the pedals and no gears....a bike you have to work at, just like you did when you were a kid; and if you couldn't get up a hill then you would walk your bike up, which is by the way, using a whole new set of muscles as you push the bike up the hill. It's a good thing! The sales person thinks I will not like it. I'm not sure what I will do yet.
