Tea for two...

I was supposed to be having lunch with friends Fiona and Janice at Gloagburn today but messaged them yesterday to say my back still isn't up to sitting on a hard chair for a few hours, and suggested they come here instead.  

As it turned out Fiona was just about to message to say she couldn't make it either so it ended up Janice came to mine but for tea and goodies, rather than lunch.

It was so lovely to see her as it's been months since we've managed to get together.  The three of us have had a date in the diary every month since the summer but something has cropped up each time and we've had to postpone.

We chatted for what seemed like hardly any time at all although the sun had gone and it was dark and we realised it was 6.15pm! 

Janice headed off, D and I had a quick dinner before he headed off to his singing rehearsal and I watched the final of the Great British Bake Off.  The best man won.
