Decluttering

We've been saying for months years that we should eat breakfast at this table in what we call the "kitchen annex".  But the area always tends to be cluttered up with boxes.  Though I see it was quite clear here.  

But tidying up for estate agents to visit has meant that once again the area is clear enough to use.  And since it is dark when we eat dinner now, so there is nothing to see from the garden room, we have decided that in addition to breakfast, we'll eat dinner here when there's just the two of us.  Crab salad for dinner tonight.

Having estate agents visit (yesterday and today) is a two edged sword.  It's lovely to hear them enthusing over the alterations we have done, but emotionally draining at the same time, as it points up such a lot that we have invested of ourselves into this house.
