Long time no see

A beautifully sunny day but with a decidedly chilly breeze.  

I had to stay in this morning because the boiler was due to be serviced and didn't get out for a stroll until after lunch.

The birds are starting to arrive back in the garden, although, sadly, we did lose a great tit to a female sparrowhawk a few days ago.  I was pleased to see this male chaffinch feeding from the sunflower feeder as they usually wander around on the ground picking up whatever the other birds have dropped.
