Do things really have to make sense?

Why is there a fox and a raccoon like animal (what is it?) riding in the front of Santa's sleigh?  I really do not know an answer to this one.

Why is Santa skinny? The night of binging on cookies and milk has not happened yet?

Why am I going to have BLT sandwiches on Thanksgiving instead of turkey? It's just me here and lettuce and tomato will go bad if they don't get eaten soon.
