Wednesday: Electricity

Back to work today and a day in the office.  I ended up with an unexpectedly clear day as an event I was due to attend in Victoria was cancelled.

There was a spot of entertainment this afternoon at a meeting of my international colleagues where we literally spent 20 minutes on whether we should get a packet of chocolate bonbons from Dollarama as a door prize for our Christmas gathering next week, or not.  There is a part of me that relishes these conversations for the sheer comedy value.

K. and I met up with my former assistant, Erica, for a few drinks.  That’s always an entertaining get-together.
