Silk Wood

The low sunlight shines through the edge of the Silk Wood at Westonbirt, lighting the leaf litter and casting shadows and highlights on the mossy trunks. We had a lovely walk through the doggy half of the arboretum although, wandering off the paths into the wilder parts meant we saw hardly any dogs at all. Of course, when we did see one, it went straight to Janet. Not that she's a fan of dogs, it's just that she looks so tasty... I've used a tobacco filter on this shot. You might like it; I do. :-)
