Faded

I was given a lovely potted rose by friends who came to lunch last month. I had to bring it inside overnight as the temperature dropped below freezing and I haven't given it its winter coat. It is frost hardy when it is planted in the ground but you need to insulate when it is in a pot. One of the flowers is spent so I cut it off and played with lighting and Silver Effects. This came out the best although it is an in camera mono and I only processed it to erase the circles on the stove top
