Surfs up dude!

I volunteered to work over easter, at double and 1/2 time it would be silly not to, but I had a lovely day off today. We started the day with a bacon sarnie and some easter egg, yum, then hit the road. We decided to head down the great ocean road to Bells beach where the Rip curl pro surf event was in full swing. Unfortunately it was a bit of a grey day so the water doesn't look very blue and the waves were breaking quite far out so our camera was on full zoom with no tripod so this is probably about the best I managed. We loved the experience, the surfers are incredible and it has definitely put us in the mood for lessons. We will however not be going back to this beach to do that, waves are about 8ft too big!!
