WILSON PITCHES HIS PLAN
Wilson has asked me into the living room so he can 'pitch an idea' to me.
With the support of Mole, (who, contrary to popular opinion does not hibernate in winter and is thus opposed to 'messing around with time') he began.
'New Dad' he said, 'Do you remember when I found out about Local Currencies?'
'The ill-fated Uckfield Pound?' I replied, frowning, 'I remember it all too clearly!'
'Once upon a time' he continued, ' – right up until the arrival of the railways, every town used to have it's own local time, and I'm planning to reintroduce it!'
'What better way,' he asked, 'to free our great town from the tyranny of constantly changing the clocks?'
