What does New Zealand have lots of?

Yes I know but I think they may be out numbered in this paddock by the Starlings, something startled them prior to this shot and a couple of hundred took flight.

I took this as often I look in a paddock and see sheep without really looking and in this paddock was very busy. The grass is tinder dry as it is in many parts of the country but both birds and sheep seem to find food. When I think about it the sheep don't have much option but the birds do so it must be better than it looks.
