Poincettia Tree

I was out for a bike ride today, with a purpose.   I went over to where I know of a poinsettia that was planted some years ago, and now is as tall as the roof of a Villa.  It has been topped off so that the tree doesn't lift shingles on  the roof.   Unfortunately I was unable to get the flagpole out of the picture.    I moved all around and tried to minimize the pole.    The owners of the villa came out to watch while I tried to get that picture.  Then I got a picture of the base of the plant.   You can see the green leaves, the red ones and the leaves in process.  It's really pretty.
