Max The Big Softy

Max is a very beautiful creature. I take pictures of him just about every day, and it's never so easy to catch him in a good light and also get him to sit still while I move a light or remove an unwanted object from the frame. There is never more than low and diffused sunlight in the room, and the flash often doesn't capture his coloring well.

Here I turned off the flash. He looks like the soft and vulnerable boy that I know; the cat who shyly asks for a back scratch. With the flash, it comes out clearer but he looks more tough or scary; the cat you don't want to mess with.

Max is all cat. He's 20 pounds of fuzzy love.
