Dorothy Wordsworth

We have a new art installation on Main Street Cockermouth...

Dorothy Wordsworth was born in Cockermouth 250 years ago on Christmas day.

Jess from National Trust dressed up as Dorothy, and I did a photo shoot. The best image was chosen for this art installation.

When you get up close to it you can see that the photo is made using Dorothy's words. Amazing!

When the Christmas lights are switched off in early January, Dorothy will move to her permanent location in Wordsworth House ( 200 yards away along Main Street. )
