Emergency blip - date palindrome

Today's date is a special collection of numbers that can be reversed but read the same - a perfect palindrome. Also, an emergency blip - I spent today on the roof and the pictures of ashfelt and bitumen sealant were just a bit too dull. I also didn't manage to finish the job as the weather was so cold I couldn't feel my fingers and the bitumen sealant became really stiff. It's warming now for another go tomorrow - that'll do it.
