Multi-tasking
It was still lightly misting rain when I encountered this young couple eating ice cream and drinking coffee on their way to somewhere. I was on my way to the library to collect Victoria Chang's Dear Memory: Letters on Writing, Silence, and Grief. It's an interesting genre-breaking book of letters to people living and dead, amplified by old photographs, postcards, ticket stubs, and receipts. I'm engrossed in it now.
Speaking of genre-breaking books, if you are among those who have read Aimee's Newsletters from Manhattan, she would love it if you have time to write a review. The way this form of publishing works, the more reviews she gets (even if they are not raves), the likelier it is that she will meet the algorithm and be seen. This link should work. No blame if you don't have time or the inclination.
