Home Again
I slept really well last night so I guess it was fairly stress-free being home and without the responsibilities of a dog.
I did jobs outside when we came back from the walk on which I took this photo. I set up an electrical cable high above our driveway so the snow clearing tractor doesn't have to think about it. The electricity is needed for the camper-van, to keep the batteries topped up. The extra picture was taken by Jan, who told me to be careful. I was.
I cleared the snow away from the kayak tent and cleared the last of the branches from the lawn, left from tree-felling adventures earlier.
It had snowed through the night and everything was satisfyingly white, but as we were walking and working outside the temperature rose and the drizzling snow turned to drizzling rain - yuk! I worked on for a while but eventually it was getting dark and I felt damp enough to give up, and go in for a nice cup of tea!
I took a few pictures as we walked. Some were of the frozen lake with a small circle of open water but I think Jan is blipping that, so I took another image.
The sun shone, but only just. However, it added a little more depth to the ploughed field with a light covering of snow, something that I always find rather lovely.
