Sunrise Easter Morning

On the 10 Day of Spring.

-6C at 0600 on Hartshill Hayes for a Sunrise Easter Service with Holy Communion. 18 people came, plus our dog Sheba. When the bread and wine came round, Sheba was given a dog biscuit instead, then she was happy. The only time she stopped given off little cries was when I gave a short homily, then she was quiet.

The sky was amazing, the colours were terrific and this plane trail was the icing on the cake as it crossed the dark cloud.
