Today’s offering

It has been an odd day. No quilting as my back was a bit achy this morning, so it’s been time spent on the settee working on the laptop. 

R has headed off on a work trip. An early train to get to Heathrow then the usual hanging around for what seems like days. I was attempting to track her flight on Plane Finder but without any luck. I knew it was going to fly as she sent a message and picture soon after boarding. I gave up trying, but as we were walking up to the field with Amber my phone pinged and the tracker indicated that the plane was moving. It took off 34 minutes late. I will know that it has landed before we go to bed tonight.

The bread is B’s efforts. We bought a new bread maker recently and this is the second loaf that he has made. It tastes super and so soft.
