A tender moment ......

...... and judging by mum's girth I suspect that this year's calf will soon be taken away to join the other calves in the nursery.

Although the temperature was warmer today it actually felt much colder. There was some sunshine in the morning but nothing like yesterday's azure blue skies.

An early start with an 8.30 am appointment at the dentist.
I was out, teeth scaled and polished, within ten minutes and my next appointment made for 22nd February.
