The Naughty Elves

My Dear Princess and Dear Friends,

So.

That stuff that we are supposed to be installing? 

Still hasn't shown up.

It sounds a bit like Xmas morning. You know? When you see a parcel under the tree and it LOOKS the right size and shape for "Buckaroo!" or "Operation - The Mad Doctor's Game by MB" or something but then you unwrap it and it is a jumper and two pairs of knickers.

It seems like this is what our couriers are doing to us. "Your container is on its way! It's HERE! In Christchurch!" they tell us. But when they open the container it contains just a sweater and two pairs of knickers.

As a consequence, not a great deal got done today. Here, you see Jefe and Losi, working hard on a foosball table. 

That was actually a lot of fun. I hope it comes across in today's picture, they were CRYING with laughter. It was just adorable. 

In other news, back in Wellington Ellie was FIZZING with rage because people have been messing with the technology when her job is to TELL THEM TO LEAVE IT ALONE. 

She and Fazzy have been doing a great job, putting out jokey posters and trying to be nice about it. But she has decided nice does not work. This was after one joker decided to just switch our stuff off (we don't even know how he did this). And THEN... well, I'll let Ellie tell the story...

Ellie's Story
Fazzy and me just witnessed a group of people dressed as Christmas elves trying to rip up the tech in one room so they can move the table TO PRACTISE A DANCE. 

Before we could really process what on earth they were up to, Fazzy asked them not to touch the technology. They cheekily responded, 'Don’t you have spares?!” and then they closed the door.

I lost my sh*t. Not even joking, I'm still in rage mode. 

Back in Christchurch we knocked off early, had dinner and then went to bed early. Corrie is arriving tomorrow and - tech or no tech - we are planning on implementing a big night out. 

Fingers crossed for that equipment though. Unless the elves have got at it again.
