Gotcha!
He grabbed it professionally- a jar of special dark marmalade which had the secret ingredient of muscovado sugar. The jar of course was the last one found amongst all the other classic marmalades in kitchen cupboards so high I might have had to hire a cherry picker to use them.
I had been invited back for a warming coffee at my Tuesday beach buddy’s home and this is her husband using the grabber with great skill.
What they couldn’t understand was putting marmalade on oatcakes.
It was a perfect morning for a dip at Porty. Floating on a calm sea looking up into a near cloudless blue sky with the orb of the sun in the east and the waning Beaver Moon in the west is a pleasure hard to beat.
Unfortunately now that the sunshine has been replace by grey cloud, it has all gone downhill, but we had the best of the day.
