A Gift from the Past

My sister-in-law gifted me these three framed drawings done by my mother in 1938.  Mom was just 16 when she drew them.  She had such talent.  She loved to draw women and she would design fashions for them.  We would later draw paper dolls together.  She was the editor of her high school yearbook and quarterly publication and she usually designed and drew the cover illustration.  I've added two of her drawings that most likely were in one of the publications.  Such a wonderful gift from the past.  They hang in my hall now for me to enjoy every day.
