The future is bright..

The future is, ermm, decidedly blue....at least for St Georges Tower in Leicester.
Built for BT in the 60`s near to the railway station, this building apparently caused quite a bit of controversy.
After BT and the GPO moved out, the building remained empty until a local business man had a vision...albeit a blue one.. and had a plan for the tower and its many floors.

He decided to turn the place into luxury apartments on the upper floors and a Premier Hotel on the lower floors which opened in February this year.
Not content with painting the building blue, he had the multi-coloured glass windows installed, to give a bit of interest I suppose.
To say it`s unique is an understatement, it`s visible for miles and the views from the upper floors are said to be quite spectacular
