Infinity des Lumieres!

Blipping a day later as it took hours to go through over 1GB of pictures taken yesterday! :))

So, the day finally came to experience this new art exhibition that I've had my eyes on since it opened in the summer! G's birthday was the perfect reason to get a small group together and head for the first show of the morning at 10 AM. We all had an idea of what it was about, but to actually stand there, completely surrounded by "art" accompanied by music took us all aback. The blurb tells people to allow 90 minutes to take it all in. We stayed around 2 hours.

A quick flit around the museum shop to buy G a few souvenirs to remember, and then we had lunch at Grand Cafe... a much more pleasant experience as we now know exactly how to get to it! I should do a collage of the food which was beautifully presented, and agreed by all that it tasted good too. Johnny, our waiter, went the extra mile and wrote G's name on a plate when he brought out a piece of cake for us to share. It's all we could manage at the end of a very varied meal.

Back home to crash and to some more work before I took G on a little abra ride and treated her to a fresh coconut juice. Neither of us could contemplate another meal. I think G has had a good birthday. She got her tea in bed first thing and the birthday banner went up. And because we are coming to a huge national celebration, schools have various activities planned, which meant she didn't have to go in for her one-hour lesson today. Perfect! :))
