Easter Sunday

We have had a really lovely Easter Sunday.

This morning we went to Granny and Grandad's and decorated hard boiled eggs there.

After lunch we visited Weaver's Cottage in Kilbarchan with Granny, Uncle G, Auntie B, Uncle M, Auntie L and cousins L and R. There was an Easter Egg hunt for the children. Kerr enjoyed searching for the eggs and drawing a picture on each square of his sheet in reward for a chocolate egg.

We said our goodbyes to Auntie B and Uncle G who are heading back home tomorrow.

Mid afternoon we went to Gran and Grandpa's for another Easter Egg hunt and the annual rolling of decorated eggs with cousins A, L and E. Thanks to Daddy it ended up being an egg fight with hard boiled eggs bouncing off everyone's heads and backs. Carnage! Fudge helpfully ate all 10 of the smashed, glittery, painted eggs. I dread to think how his stomach will react. We also had fun with the rubber bouncy egg I bought at Weaver's Cottage, and managed to avoid Fudge scoffing that one too.

Back indoors for a lovely roast lamb dinner and homemade simnel cake.
