The Oranges of Osage

I took a drive last week to a place where I know there are many Osage Orange trees. There aren't many left on the trees, but the ground is covered with them.

I picked out 10 big ones. Rumor has it that they keep spiders away, and I figured the bigger oranges would keep away the bigger spiders.

Depending on what article you read, the oranges are edible...or not.
