Time for a move

When we had the building work done a few years ago we moved a very heavy large Victorian chest of drawers into the guest bedroom and it is just too big. I had a plan to take down some shelves, move the drawers and replace with a tall bookcase. So today we got the bookcase from IKEA, moved the books, removed the shelves and moved the chest. Tomorrow we put together the bookcase. We unpacked it down stairs as the box was too big and too heavy to carry up, so now we have it in bits on the floor and the books in piles behind it. We closed the door and left it for tomorrow.
Walk with daughter and dogs was nice. She has to go to the Isle of White for a meeting this week, that’s a very long car journey, a ferry and overnight stay which I think is unreasonable for her boss to expect of them. Three colleagues travelling together in the same car when I thought we were still trying to maintain distance. Her partner is also working away this week so I said we will look after her dog.
