Motorcycle madness
There must be something in the genes, and this one has them from the Howard and Gibbs side. Today Henry did his second day training to ride a motorbike. On Saturday it was all in a car park, but today he was out on the road. He has 4 more days training after today, and so far is enjoying it. Of course he is - much to my dismay! Anyway, here he is in his motorbike-mad Papa's old motorcycle jacket. It fits like a glove. With a kitchen to fit, there is a temporary halt on any bike renovation. But my lovely dad would have been 92 today, so it is nice to think of him at his happiest...with his beloved motorbikes, and to know that love has been passed on to his grandsons.
So the big news of the day is that the kitchen arrived this morning. In many many many boxes. It is going to be a long job. They are safely packed into the garage for now.
A good day at work, and then made a red lentil curry with spinach and naan. It's one of our favourites. I think it's because the curry paste is made from scratch from the spices, and so the flavours are strong.
I have made 5 more mice, with just 9 more walnuts I'm getting near to being finished. So some chilling with tv before bed.
