Shag

I found this on the beach, and thinking that it was big enough to have come from a swan or goose I sent an e-mail to  colourmarkedwildfowl@wwt.org.uk. I was promptly forwarded to the shag department. shags@ceh.ac.uk. 

A nice man named Mark was able to give me a list of sightings of the bird that wore this ring. It can only be assumed that the poor shag is now deceased.
