Portsmouth and beyond...

So...in a break from the usual, people free photographs, and oblique references, you also get  brief narrative...which is rare too...

My involvement with blip began 2010 when I started working with VSO in Nepal and posted daily images from there. (I'm less diligent these days), before returning home in 2012.

As you'd expect, friendships made as a result of shared experiences, are maintained well beyond that. Which is why I was in Nottingham watching a specific gig at Nottingham Comedy Festival. Fedor is part of that extended Nepali family, and as he had travelled from Amsterdam, there's no  forgivable excuse for not seeing him perform, along with meeting with a few others. ( I think I might have got away with it if my cardiac arrest three years ago had been fatal, but...)

Anyway, enough of the story. Two excellent comedians, and a great little venue, The Carousel and the opportunity meet with friends and plan for the next event...

For those of you that prefer less humanity, here's  the more usual fare...

...and rest assured, normal service and intermittent posting will resume shortly.
