The view from here

I’m home from my stay at hospital and now recuperating. I had a crazy idea that I would be back at my desk and putting in a day’s work by now. Crazy; this is going to be a long haul. 
Sunset was very nice, or so I inferred from my view out of the window. Taken with my iPad and a shaky hand so sorry about the quality.

I have to mention the excellent people at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire. From the surgeon who operated on me through the nursing staff and all of the ancillary folk, I encountered only professionalism, kindness, respect for my dignity (in what were often far from dignified situations) and dedication. Forget the clownish buffoons who allegedly rule our lives; these heroes are the backbone of our country. I just hope that the NHS doesn’t get sold down the river by moronic politicians.
