Teignmouth pier from Shaldon Ness

Met Mike & Barbara in Shaldon and did a circular walk from the Ness down through the town and along the estuary a little way. It was low tide. We turned back and walked up to the botanical gardens where we found a bench and had our picnic lunch. Great views across to Teignmouth. We rounded off our walk by heading up past the zoo to the top of the Ness and enjoyed the views out to sea - could just make out Portland in the distance along the coast. Called in to mum's on our way back.
