Arniston Bridge #13

The sun was out, we were up and about so I thought I'd better blip this next bridge while I could - Carrington Bridge. So from #12, we've headed downsteam on the South Esk and turned left up Redside Burn which eventually leads to Edgelaw Reservoir. I'd say this is a river rather than a burn, I've asked for it to be upgraded!

We've pottered about the foot of this bridge once before, it and the RIVER is lovely. It is difficult to follow the river further upstream after the bridge as there are so many overhanging trees. Again for whatever reason, people dump rubbish over the side, and since almost no-one goes here it remains. I did take the drone up to the plaque on the side and think it dates the bridge as 1812. This is the first blip in the series with another underbridge dweller not called Arlo.

In the evening I was whisked away from my eat-out birthday meal (in the extra) with Ms H and er... H. How many H's can there be :-0
