Happy Easter!

Tired.
Was up at 5am to help cook breakfast for folk who went up the hill for the early service.

One of the new hens escaped last night as we were putting her in the henhouse. She flew onto the top of our neighbour's roof! Managed to catch her with a fishing net.
Today, the pecking order within the new hens is beginning to be established - not terribly nice to watch. Have had to administer first aid to one hurt comb.

Hopefully they'll settle down soon.
