Clipping Light

Went out early, with hardly a cloud in the sky, only to watch as a bank of cloud crossed the sky from the north east as sunrise approached.  In the end the sun made the briefest of appearances before the cloud blocked its light.  It was just long enough to light up the tops of thee trees near the local common.

Later we went for a walk on Cannock Chase in glorious weather, with just a few wispy clouds in the sky, it was still warm in the sunshine, but a strengthening  northerly wind started to cool us down and when we stopped at the stables to see Meg, L's ride, it was definitely chilly.  Perhaps we are going to get a feel of some colder weather over the coming week.
