Van Gogh

A bitterly cold morning but lovely and sunny. Kate came over as I had booked tickets for the Van Gogh experience for her birthday. It was fabulous but neither of us are good at standing still for a long time so we did wander round the room. Its a fabulous way to experience the paintings seeing the daubs close up and the detail in eyes etc was amazing. 
We had a drink in the Lowry then wandered up to the Lowry exhibition. 
I cooked a meal here as I'd bought a delicious m&s quiche which we had with salad. A lovely day out. Glass of wine and a catch up with the Formula 1 now.
