Catkin Sample

I was going to put some beautiful daffodils on as there are quite a few out in the garden but then I mentions the Catkin Sample so thought that you would like to see what I spent all evening knitting. The shawl is coming along nicely but slowly and I am now on row 25 so getting there. You will see that I made a mistake in this sample as it should have had garter stitch at the sides but I didn't read the pattern properly.
A beautiful day up here and I spent a few hours in the garden tidying up and it was so hot I had to take my jersey off.
