Recalcitrant

We took Logan's birthday presents along tonight. He becomes a teenager on Sunday but he has two football games to play then so no time for distractions such as a celebration or birthday cake. He has however already developed teenage behaviour in advance of Sunday which I put down to spending too much time in the company of other footballers. This was the best he could offer when I asked to recorded the occasion, reminiscent of a team photograph or mug shot for a Panini sticker.
