Dewdrops 2/7

My personal 7 day Dewdrop challenge continues. Since it is Sunday and I had more time for walking this morning (procrastinating urgent house chores) I decided that I wanted to photograph a Dandelion Clock. I photographed several (more in extra) but I was immediately aware of several limitations to my work. First of all the lack of a tripod, which I compensate by taking on a deep squat position and posing my elbows on my knees, thus fixing the camera in a kind of a tripod situation. Secondly I need to learn to stack..but don't have a program on my camera for automatic z stacking -and I would need a tripod! Despite these limitation I had a lot of fun. This challange is making the transition from photographing my insect friends easier, I never even thought about them this morning. And when a family on a walk close to where I was bent over a subject called out to their young son to get back on the path as the meadow was wet and he would get his shoes soaked, I wanted to call back "no please come back young boy and look at the magic created by simple water"
