A busy day. I am working this weekend and had to attend to a few matters which had been missed. I, on the other hand, am not missing this work.

Home to find my girl had arrived early, Surprise! She and I had concocted this plan to surprise her father this weekend for his birthday. He was delighted.

Then a rare Saturday night out in the centre of town. There were queues to get into everything, including McDonald's. Cocktails, big fancy steaks and mair drink was enjoyed. Then out into the streets to find no taxis! Some things never change. Look at the number of people on the street though, I'd forgotten how busy the city could be.
