20th November….

Should have been Rebecca’s wedding day but sadly that wasn’t to be.

Instead she made herself busy by taking part in the Farnham Christmas lights switch on with the little tots from her dance school.  They have lots of local clubs, schools etc taking part on the stage throughout the afternoon and her little dance school were the first to perform.  She had myself, Lucy and Natalie helping backstage so the parents can go around to the front to watch.  It’s pretty full on and manic making sure shoes and coats go into the right bag for the right group, putting on ballet shoes, placating tearful ones or nervous ones but they all did brilliantly.  She should be very proud of herself.

I thought we would grab something to eat later but Rebecca had her old friends coming around in the evening so we went for a coffee and to add to my joy Sim & Nat had joined us.  They missed all of the dancing (typical of their timekeeping) but it still meant I got to cuddle my gorgeous O.  Natalie left us after coffee to meet another friend but the rest of us had a lovely wander around the shops and, as you can see from my blip, they have some wonderful ‘snow’ artwork in the windows.

Back to Rebecca’s for a cuppa before quick visit to Waitrose to pick something up for dinner and back home for Strictly.
