Delight

Thank you so much for your kind encouragement yesterday. 
Today turned out to be rather full too...time in the garden ,  I did an hour on the blower after breakfast, then a bit of pruning before Adie and her friend Ben arrived. They’ve done 6 solid hours in the garden today…all the hedges finished and much more besides.
Meantime ( with me supervising ) Dean roped the ladder to the guttering edging  our glass roof over the back deck, and went up with the magic glass cleaner and long window brush and after shifting the ladder 3 times we now have a beautifully clean glass roof . I carried on cleaning the outside windows along the back of the house before we stopped for lunch.
A little gentle stitching this afternoon . Just outside the stitching cave  , the irises continue to delight and last light this evening set the cercis canadensis aglow.
