An annoying defeat today as I thought we deserved a draw. In our usual late show we had two goals disallowed in the last five minutes and while I can understand one of the decisions the other one left me and all the other Chester supporters completely mystified. How can a player be offside if the ball is pulled back from the byline? We could have done with VAR.

As usual the rest of the day went well with geocaching in Craven Arms and Hereford followed by a pre-match visit to the excellent Barrels pub. At the pub we met up with a few friends and sampled a Hopfather beer from the Wye Valley Brewery. On the way back we stopped in Ludlow for another adventure lab geocache and a superb jalfrezi at an Indian restaurant. 

A good day. Just a pity about the disallowed goals.
