We left the Galápagos yesterday, flew back to Quito, messed around annoyingly trying to get the monitored COVID tests to work (finally did), and five of us were at the airport in Quito by 9:00 PM for our flight back to Atlanta that took off at 12:40 AM this morning. Thus - I've basically been awake since about 5:00 yesterday morning. This is my only photo for today - I have no idea precisely what is below the plane, but we were close to landing at the Charlottesville airport when I took it.

Backblipping of the Galápagos will hopefully commence tomorrow!
