This morning’s Park Run was a fairly damp affair but the conditions must have been favourable as both Tess & I knocked a minute off last week’s times, giving me my best time since before lockdown. Chris had to give it a miss this week as he had the chance to go to the horse racing at Ascot.

Later we had a stroll round the stalls at the food fair being held in the High Street. As you can see, there was a bit of a Christmas theme going on and further proof, if more was needed than the Tesco ad, that Santa has been able to enter the country with his COVID pass.

This afternoon Kate, Sophie & Joel came over to celebrate Kate’s birthday with a meal out. Meanwhile, Yeovil were achieving a very creditable 1-0 win away at Dagenham, maintaining our good run of form.
