Too much choice

We spent the day today with our family. J cooked us a wonderful fish pie, stuffed with a variety of white fish, pink fish and even scallops.
Lunch over J and N settled down to watch the rugby, while Mik, Jake and I went to a huge garden centre/gift shop. We had tea and cake before exploring their massive Christmas department. Earlier this week I took a box of Christmas decorations to the charity shop, so I didn’t need to stock up again. There was a bewildering choice of food and decorations, but I wasn’t tempted. I did find it tiring, so many people, and especially as I had a late night last night at the Golf Club Quiz Night.
When we got back to their house, George arrived to join us. It was good to see so many of the family. A good day.
