Village Hall Evening

Tonight we went to Galmpton Village Hall for a meeting of the village history society, and a talk about the Mayflower II. The replica was built in Brixham and sailed to America in 1957 as a gift to the Americans. It is a fantastic story, expertly told by John Scotney, who had a distinguished career with the BBC. John also wrote a book about it.
