My morning bacon roll at Portobello is often eaten in the company of starlings, many of whom I have got to know quite well. The one on the right is Mrs Millichip, her broken wing being the result of an incident last week when she wouldn't back down on her anti-vaccination stance.
We do, however, agree on many subjects including the butter-to-bacon ratio in the morning roll and the British Government's handling of Napoleon's exile to St Helena in 1815.
The starling on the left, Hermes K. Fanaffenburger Jnr, is, on the other hand, a complete wanker.
